1. Thomas Dexter was the founder of the Dexter family in America. He came to New England in 1629 or 1630. He was thought to have come from Bristol England. [DGW]
1. Frances Dexter married Richard Woodee and had a daughter Martha Woodee. Martha Woodee married Richard Pattishal and had a daughter Francis Pattishall. Francis Pattishall married Thomas Hitchbourn and had a daughter Deborah Hitchbourn. Deborah Hitchbourn married Apollos Rivoire and had a son named Paul Revere. Source is email from Frank Swenson.
