3. The death record was for a "Mary McLeod" in 1909, age 97, at
Oceanview, born Scotland. Informant was Donald Buchanan. [AC]

7. Duncan Buchanan, Alex McCrae and Duncan's son Donald sailed into
Charlottetown on August 16, 1966 and a storm came up. Duncan made his son
walk home. Duncan drowned and his body washed ashore af Flat River on
September 19, 1966. If Donald sailed home that day I would not be here
today. [JB]
